The first week...

The first week of having Archie was yesterday, and it sure has been both fun and challenging. Although he goes outside most of the time, we are still working on reading his signs that he needs to go out, and I think he's trying to figure out the best way to tell us. This project is a work in progress....

On another front, everyone LOVES Archie, and Archie loves everyone. He met some new friends including Blythe (whom he absolutely adores) and Paul. He quickly accepts them as friends and gets right to playing with them. I'm glad to have a friendly, non-possessive dog.

We are still working hard to crate train him. We know that typically it takes a few weeks to a couple months for a dog to be content with being left in the crate, so we are still working.

We gave Archie a bath the other night after he decided to roll around in mulch. I have included some pictures of the last couple days to this blog... Enjoy!
